Richard Orlowski, MD

Richard Orlowski, MD

Dr. Orlowski received his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University. After receiving his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, he completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Washington University. Dr. Orlowski then completed his fellowship in Oncology/ Hematology at Duke University in Durham, NC. Dr. Orlowski opened his Hickory practice in 1983. He is on staff at Catawba Valley Medical Center and Frye Regional Medical Center and is certified in medical oncology.

John Peterson, MD

John Peterson, MD

Dr. Peterson attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He graduated in 1983, completing his fellowship at the University of North Carolina and Duke University. His certifications include Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. Dr. Peterson independently operated his own practice in Sanford, NC from 1992–2008. In 2005, Dr. Peterson opened a second office in Cary, NC. He is on staff at Catawba Valley Medical Center and Frye Regional Medical Center.

Theodore Flint Gray, MD

Dr. Gray joins us from Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center, in Watauga County. He received his Medical Degree from Emory University School of Medicine in 1987. He brings to our practice 21 years of Oncology experience. Dr. Gray is originally from Kingsport, Tennessee. He is married, with two daughters. He enjoys running, bicycling, skiing and golf. Dr. Gray will be on staff at Catawba Valley Medical Center and Frye Regional Medical Center.

Colin Curran, MD

Colin Curran, MD

Dr. Curran received an undergraduate degree at Boston College. He subsequently attended Rutgers University Medical School in Newark, NJ. Following medical school, he completed Internal Medicine training and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. Dr. Curran brings more than 20 years of clinical experience to Carolina Oncology Specialists.

Louay Hanna, MD

Louay Hanna, MD

Dr. Hanna, attended medical school at the University of Damascus, Syria. He completed his fellowship training in Medical Oncology, at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, NY, Internal Medicine residency at Winthrop University Hospital, Long island, NY. Dr Hanna is board certified in both internal medicine and Medical oncology. He practiced as a medical oncologist and hematologist in Marion, North Carolina for 4 years prior to joining us, he has deep understanding to the culture and patients need in this area. Dr hanna treats variety of cancers and benign blood diseases as well. He is on staff at Catawba Valley Medical Center and Frye Regional Medical Center.
