In the treatment wing of our 21,000 square foot building, we administer “close to home” infusion chemotherapy and other treatments to our patients, allowing them the comfort and support of having family or friends nearby. Prior to beginning treatment, certified chemotherapy nurses educate patients and family members of the patient’s disease and the drugs to be administered. Videos and booklets are also available as well as information about support groups and meeting times. Patients are also given instructions of how to reach the physicians after hours and on weekends. In addition to the physicians and chemotherapy nurses, there is a supporting staff of mid-level practitioners to assist patients during and in post treatment care. While resting in one of our four private treatment rooms or any one of the other fifteen soothing semi- private treatment areas, our patients are compassionately and professionally cared for and enjoy the convenience and pleasure of returning home the same day of treatment.
